AV Recorder?

Is there any way to download an AV recorder for my iMac, unless theres a hidden feature on an app i already have... if there is please tell me : ).. I want to be able to use my iSight to record things

But now its saying I dont have a camera connected when my iSight is clearly displaying my mug on the video place
