I'm once again up-to-date with this thread. If you've posted a code in this thread, it's entered on my Wii with the exception of the 2 non working codes, and mistabungle who informed me that he sold his Wii after I PM'ed everyone who had not added me.

I will eventually start deleting people but I figure if I'm not full (<100 codes) there's no pressing need to delete... that and the fact that the Wii doesn't seem to shift the entries when one is deleted... makes for a bit of an interesting address book when you take out all the grey.

Click on icons on the Mii Parade screen. One of them should have "Travel" options. Make sure this is turned on. Then be patient, it took awhile to get the first few but now there's typically 2-3 more per day.

After waiting online for two hours at Toys R Us, I finally got a Wii! I can't wait to start exchanging Miis, so if anyone would like to add me to their address book, that would be great. I haven't got any friends who own a Wii yet.

I'll add you by the end of the week depending on my free time. I've kept up with the thread so far and am getting dangerously close to 100 codes in the Wii. After I hit 100 I'll start removing those entered who have not turned black as new codes arrive.

I'd purge now but the address book in the Wii didn't appear to shift addresses as others were deleted cluttering things.

Yellow light means that your Wii is connected to WiiConnect24 even when it is powered off. If you want red you have to go to your Wii settings and turn off WiiConnect24 in one of the settings that pertain to standby mode.

Haha yah, it is quite a freebie. I just absolutely love how free you feel as you roam the webpage of your choice. It was almost like the internet was reborn to me. I mean, I'm so used to using the same ol' mouse and keyboard..so having the freedom to zoom in, out, and freely move around the page is just great!

Not to mention the fact that I was shocked that I was able to watch vids on youtube w/o even having to download any plugins or anything like that. So far my wii experience has been stellar.

I have call of duty 3, and that's good fun, but I can't wait to get spidey 3. I love the freeroam stuff. Now if more people would add my friendcode!

Don't expect everyone to go black. I've added everyone from this thread, with the exception of the last 2 codes, (you and rtn5000) and I fully expect to get both of you added this week. However I've only had 40 or so of the 99 codes I have go black, 3 of them are real life friends who haven't posted here.

My biggest gripe is that if you go in and delete someone from the address book it does not shift the remaining addresses up, and leaves blank spots in the book to be filled in later. So I've just left all the grey ones there until I loop back around with new codes.

Did you actually parse the entire thread? Post 1 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=3074837#post3074837) and post 287 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=3506838#post3506838) have all the codes as far as I know. If you manage to find any that were missed let me know. I've been pretty vigilant though.

Hi Kinesin,

Thanks for the post... for Mii's in the parade, it will just a matter of time. I had to wait a few weeks to but now I have close to 300 of them in my parade.

As for the Wii Codes, you will need these to send msg's back and forth to people (both sides have to enter each-others codes) as well as for playing online multiplayer games when they arrive. The first three online multiplayer games that have been announced are Mario Strikers, Mario Kart and Pokemon. The first of which should arrive late 2007 and the others early 2008.

Unlike most online console games, you will not be able to just go online and play with whom ever is playing at the moment... You will only be able to play with those whom you have swapped codes with. I say swapped, because both sides will have to enter each-others codes. Merely entering a code will not make you Wii Friends, the other person has to enter your code as well.

Yeah it does. I couldn't tell you why. But the Wii console's friend code is 4 sections and the MK code is 3.

When you go to the internet play of MK, there is a menu that pops up and says something like, Global, Region, and Friends. If you click on the Friends button it will show you your MK code.
