Any dissassemblage yet? I want to paint the wiimote but it looks like the front of the unit is having difficulty separating.

What sort of screwdriver did you use? It has the tri-wing screws in the battery compartment.

Just be careful. A site whom I can't remember, broke their Wii trying to take the screws out.

A tri-wing screwdriver. It's the same screws on the DS if that helps.

No, not torx. Tri-wing.
If you're not sure what it is, just take a quick look on ebay for Nintendo Screwdriver, and you should get a fair number of hits showing you what it is.

found one - waiting for my paint to dry (3rd coat) and then I'll spray a gloss over it. Unfortunately my paint was rather cheap so it clumped :(
But it looks alright

Is the finish goin to be similar to the Wii-mote? Will it feel the same? You can tell me in the morning if you don't know yet.

Post pics as soon as possible. Won't this kind of paint scratch off? I was thinking yesterday about spraying my girlfriend's iBook pink. She saw a picture of one online and *loved* it although that was a G3 where the paint was on the inside of the plastic. She was worried that it would scratch through really easily if I sprayed her 'G4 'book and white scratches would be really obvious.
Does this stuff soak into the plastic or something?

I want to personalise mine with some kind of decal, just everyone and their neighbour here is getting a Wii so I want to accidentally swop a controller. Want it to match my future DS Lite mod

meh, I could have painted the buttons – but I need to see how they're labeled and I'm not prepared to cut out masks that detailed for a controller mod.
I think it's fine, I think it matches the Zelda disk more with the white.
