Hey guys quick question. I've just bought myself an iSight off ebay and haven't got it yet. Basically I need to move this iSight around and am looking for a 4m cable to connect the iSight to the Mac. What kind of firewire cable do I need? Is it 6 pin to 6 pin or 4 pin to 6 pin or something? Any ideas? Also will I suffer any quality loss at that length?

The cable is 6 pin to 6 pin. I think the max cable length is 4.5m, but I'm not sure about that part.

Actually does anybody know any high street stores in London that would sell a firewire lead around 4m?

Ok great thanks, yeah ideally it needs to be at least 2.5m, but I would prefer 3 or 4m. This seems to be something that isn't sold on high streets. I need it from a high street shop as have to have it by tomorrow AM.

Try calling the London Apple Store and asking for advice there... I'm from the US, so I can't help with that. 🙁 I can say that the one in the US box is about 1.75 - 2m long.
