View Full Version : How Many People "Steal" Software?

How many of you, out there, acquire your software with Acquisition or another GNU-negotiating gimmick (i.e., LimeWire, Morpheus, BearShare, Kazaa, Napster II, etc.)?

This is an interesting subject, since so many seem to have their own copy of programs like "Adobe Photoshop" and "Final Draft".

How many went into the Apple Store, or authorized reseller, and put money down?

I for one have purchased well over twenty thousand dollars in software in the last 10 years.

to name a few:
7 copy's of photoshop, plus many upgrades.
7 copy's of Illistrator, plus upgrades
7 copy's of quark :mad:
4 copy's of osx
5 copy's of Jaguar
7 copy's of ID3, GOODBYE quark
1 copy of GoLive.
And I wont even go into all the stuff from the mid to late 80's
I am also a shareware junkie, and actualy pay for the ones that I like.
I might be the ONLY person to have actualy sent money to Arlo Rose for Konfabulator, paid for 5 copy's to be exact.


PS, I have been using Photoshop for many years, but unlike MANY in these forums, I do not think of myself as a photoshop god. I STILL learn something new all the time.

Snap... I've been using it for about 9 years... and there's still bits and bobs that I don't know what they're for...

I know so many people that have 'mastered' Photoshop.... and they still don't have a clue how to design... :p :p :p

Actually I think they became Artworkers..... heh-heh
