I can't really tell between the first and second one, since the photo's a bit small, but I love the concept! I've really wanted to do something like that with my Powerbook for a while, but I have no clue where to go to get it engraved, or what it'll run me.

Yeah i dunno why its small. The first one has the Apple logo in a circle making it look like the Dragon is pregnant with the apple logo. In the second and third ones however, there is no circle aroung the logo and its like the dragon is being pushed/forced back or repelled by the Apple logo.

Hahaha! Now that you say it that really does look like a Pregnant dragon in the first one. I'm kinda thinking I like the second one...

I like the original black wallpaper the best, so I'll pick the 3rd design, which is closest to the original.

I would pick the first one. All of them look good though.

Stupid question, does lazer etching void the warantee, I have heard both that it does and does not?

I like the third. It'll stand out more too at a distance than the thin outline.

No it doesn't, you're not touching the internals of the computer and is in fact the same thing as putting a sticker on your machine.
Im actually surprised people are picking the 3rd one. hmmm.

Looking at it now, number 3 would go well with a blackbook as it would REALLY stand out.

Great idea :) I prefer No. 1 or 2 though, they seem cleaner to me.
Although from a distance I'm sure someone would say they are random scratches!!
