search forums not working..?

Hey there,

Is anyone else having difficulty getting the forum search to work?? For the past day and half I have gotten this error when trying:

"The string you entered for the image verification did not match what was displayed."

- Not sure if it's somehow on my end or macrumors end.. just curious if anyone else is having same prob.

It only happens if you're not signed in. Otherwise, you have to fill in the CAPTCHA.

Ahhh ha- thankyouverymuch! I guess I was just being lazy when viewing the site remotely, and never noticed the problem with searching before.
I'm probably wrong, but I'm guessing this is a new security placement? As I used to search the forums all the time before I finally decided to register...

That reminds me. Maybe we should get rid of the search box on the top of guest's forum pages...
