pop filters

Which is better a double layer stocking filter or metal filter.

What do you use in your studio, metal or stocking. It's for a side address mic and I was wondering if a 6 inch diameter is better than 4

I'm looking at these. One that says it's a 'louvred' metal, one that just says it's metal but may or may not be louvred, and a double stocking type.

Two questions, is it a 4 or 6 inch, and is it just plain mesh with holes or is there some trickiness to the mesh? I note that they say their screen is 'polorised', I'm not sure what that means in this context.

That's rather interesting. Are you able to describe any obvious structure to the holes that makes it a semi one way design. Like are they scooped out a bit on one side?
