Microsoft elite desktop, bluetooth

Hi I've read in some places that the microsoft bluetooth desktop requires the dongle for macs that have built in bluetooth is this true?

i know this generation of mac all have buildin bluetooth, not sure if M$'s stuff need specific device.

the MP actually does not come standard with BT, AFAIK.

sorry, I'm being a little vague. I have a macbook with built in bluetooth but I'm worried that the microsoft keyboard and mouse set will require me to use a dongle to get full functionality. I read in another thread that the mouse back buttons will not work unless you are using the dongle even if you have built in bluetooth.

Wow, I never thought of that. I'm very interested to find out, because I'm torn between the BT Mighty Mouse or the BT Intellimouse from Microsoft. Looking forward to the answer, -Mike
