Itunes 4 not starting up....

I just installed itunes 4 on my 266 Beige G3 running 10.2.5. The installation went beautifully, but when I try to start up the tool, it just bounces in the dock a couple times and does not start.

The console gives me this message:

crashdump terminated by signal 5

The only problem, is that no crash log is written!

any thoughts?

Holy crap! You are running OSX on a 266?! I think your problem starts there. You are lucky you can run anything on that. OS9 runs slow enough on mine. I would never even try OSX.
