i'm selling my TiBook, and i advertised it as having 1.5yrs of AppleCare warranty left, but i forget to check if you can even transfer the warranty.
so can anyone please tell me if Apple (Australia) lets the warranty stay with the TiBook if i sell it?
thanks.:)

I just did it yesterday. You have to send a writen request to apple and include a) the name and address of the new owner, b) proof of purchase of the APP, c) the serial number of the product, d) the enrollment number of the APP. That's all you need, but details are in the user agreement that came with your APP. The address you need to send it to is there too.

you don't need to send apple any stuff
they use the serial number to check warranty, so it would be under warranty even if you fell off the face of the earth.
i would be nice to give the person a couple of the original sales receipt though, should anything go wacky

so no need for sending off forms and stuff? sounds good. i'll just give the buyer the receipts and let them do what ever they want about it.
