USB Modem

I have the USB modem on my Mac Mini for my dial up internet connection. how can i turn off the sound when it connects? it is annoying to have iTunes playing and then the modem sounds play over the top of it.

Did you try System Preferences->Network->Modem->Options?

Thank you. I was looking around everywhere last night trying to find that option. I was looking for something in the menus and not something simple right under my nose.

I'm a recent switcher and I am still struggling with a few things.
