I love your first one. i think it's quite sexy.:-D Ever think about making it in a left handed version?:-D If not, would you ever make a lefthanded bass? I'd love to have a second bass.

Those are pretty sweet, I'm in the process of finishing a 6 string bass my buddy built for me, 9 ply neck-through-body. Gonna cost a small fortune for the 2 EMG humbuckers and the bridge/tuners.

Rout out a J-pickup cavity in that Precision and we'll talk. ;)
Looks like good work. I'd like to see you carve out a bolt-on neck too. Have you considered making a career out of this?

i opened the box to my precision pickups though, if the store will switch them up ill definetly go p-j. the extra money will be worth it.

Unless you're after a strict traditional Precision, it's better to have both IMO. Much more versatile with a whole new tonal world.
What type of pickups are you using?
Also, a strings-through-body bridge would be cool.
Wish I could try it out. :)

I was thinking natural would look look really nice with the black pickguard. I've been playing a Candy Apple Red Lakland DJ-4, which has been my all-time favorite bass. Still, I look longingly at the Fender Marcus Miller, Geddy Lee, and Victor Bailey signature basses.

I think that natural would look awesome. I love the way Fender glosses the naturals, not too heavy but not too light, so it doesnt glare but it doesnt look too dull.
