A soon to be macbook owner.

Hi everyone!

New poster here but I have read the front page news for years.

I will soon be selling my Dell e1405 to a friend of mine(fingers crossed)
in the hopes of purchasing a new white macbook core 2 duo. I'm not new to OS X or Apple hardware but I have never owned anything Apple except for my iPods.

I have a 1.83 mb ... it's been a lot of fun to use.

I haven't been that shocked by the speed upgrade over my 1.33/G4, but I love the mb's keyboard and screen and GREAT airport reception. Oh, and it looks swell.

Ok- all systems are go.

I just got the OK from the parental unit to sell the dell laptop. :p

Once than is sold and I've got my Christmas/Birthday money I should be able to purchase my macbook! :D

Ok- when I go to buy my new Macbook- I want the 1.83Ghz model but I want to get a 1GB ram upgrade- can they do that before they give it to me? and how much would that cost?

OK just sold my Playstation 2 on eBay for $160.00 ($60 more than i expected).

$ 1136.85 (total cost of Macbook at Apple Store, OKC)
- 822.50 (total saved so far)
------------
$ 314.35 - I have well over this amount in the savings!!


Saturday I (hopefully) will have my first Mac! :D
