I have a mackbook now and am thinking of getting the new C2D......I really love my macbook and have no use for the pro, do you think i should buy one now or wait....money is not a issue,,, I just want to keep up with techi stuff....and this time will get a larger hard drive.....

I Know think the books will get a speed bump soon..........

Not a speed bump and not till about April next year - the Santa Rosa chipset will bring a faster FSB and stuff for the current Merom processors, all this info is easily available with a search.

Buy it if you want to.

as always, if you need one now, then buy one. if not, then wait... these macbooks are plenty fast, and will suit your needs for years.

See thats just it, i only use it for internt stuff........no programs that i need more power....but still like the latest and greatest

If a red macbook comes out i will get two....lol

Dude or Dudette, you are just obsessed with Red. Wonder what your crib looks like. Anyway to the question. I'd wait if i had a Core Duo MacBook, Santa Rosa is just around a corner which will be a more significant upgrade to the Core Duo model than the current chip swap.

Only G4/G5 (excl Quad G5) owners need upgrade now IMHO.
