Can anybody recommend a family tree download suitable for Macbook OS X with an option to buy if suitable in US Dollars

Reunion. A bit costly, but definitively worth it.

Version 9 should be right around the corner, with highly enhanced web report capabilities, and that will hopefully be universal, too (even if it runs fine on any Intel Mac through Rosetta).

Nice forum, too... 😉

Reunion is probably the best, but MacFamilyTree also looks like a really good app. You can try it before you buy it.
