I have my doubts as to whether the drivers see numbers at all.
I'm surprised that they haven't had a huge number of accidents considering that the first time would be rather startling, especially for visiting Americans.
The old woman didn't like the idea. Was she jealous? 😀

How come USA is not adopting that effective speed awareness policy? They only do click-or-ticket rip-off here during the summer or holiday season so that the federal govt can give out the tax payer money to municipal police which participate in that bogus program.
