Soooo is there away to play classic NES games on my Macbook?

I use http://nestopia.sourceforge.net/.

I'm not sure if it'll work on a macbook. I'm still on a PowerPCed Powerbook.

They both work on an MBP just fine. I'd imagine you wouldn't run into any trouble on a MacBook, as they're not exactly cutting edge software.

Good luck with that, for the past couple years or so Nintendo has really been cracking down on people and sites who post ROMs for downloading in anticipation of the Virtual Console feature of the Wii. They're almost impossible to find these days. Fortunately, the VC games for download are $10 maximum, less for older systems.

The only place I know of is romnation.net, and I've never had trouble with them. The better question is...what are the good games? ;)

http://vimm.net For all NES and SNES roms. Downloads are very slow, but they work.
