Is the "Bonus Media Remote" still included with the Premium Xbox 360 system? (If I were to go out today and buy it) Or, was that only with the first batch of 360s last Christmas?

It was "limited" to the launch period and a little afterwards...the HD DVD add-on does come with a remote though and it is the full sized one not the mini remote that they launched with last year.

It does not. I got my 360 in July and had to buy the remote seperate for I think $30......then I got another when I bought the HD-DVD drive. Exactly the same (full sized).

I got some sort of remote with mine but I don't think it was that one

We got the full sized one. (Bought it in February) It Didn't come with the HD DVD though. Just with a bundle of games and stuff.

The remote that came with the 360 during the launch time is much smaller than the media remote now, it is more the size of the original XBox DVD remote. We use my 360 for pretty much all movie watching (unless we have something in BlueRay, then it's on the PS3) because I have the remote and we can't stand the DVD controls on the PS3.

When I get the HD-DVD drive at christmas, I will probably give the small one to one of my friends who has a 360 but no remote.
