does starcraft work on the macbook? if so, how does it run?

It will run fine. I run it on my mini and it runs perfectly. You will probably need the installer for OS X. It's on the blizzard site under Starcraft downloads or something like that.

origionally I though that this was a easy question but then I remembered its running directly in os x. So, I can just use my old original Starcraft disks, with the installer on my intel macbook?

Yup, jut get the installer from the Blizzard site.
