With the new patch, type this in:

/console glfaster 2

I got a double increase in my framerates about 30 seconds after typing that in. I was hitting 25-30 almost all the time. :D

You can use "1" instead of "2", and it's more stable but not as fast.

I got about 5-6 frames more per second after using that.

Do you know what it does? I thought the multi-threaded OpenGL was already enabled?

It is. But I guess it kicks the threading into higher gear.

This has been available for almost a year. It works on PC's too.

You may be thinking of M2Faster which is a cross platform tweak.

GLFaster is specific to the Mac OS X client. It does not affect rendering under Windows (D3D or OpenGL).

I put in both of them :)
