I would like to buy an older ibook, i am open to a PC as well if the deal is right. Got around 300 to spend maybe a little more. Does not have to be perfect.

So please list what you have the specs, condition of the computer, pictures, and price shipped to 75762.

I have paypal, and please list any vouchers, or ebay feedback, and if you take paypal.

Thanks!

I have a toshiba portege 3020. It's stored away, but here are the specs based on my recollection:

10" screen and less than 2 lbs (kinda like a PDA on steroids - it's bizarre holding it, it's so small compared to even 12" ibooks!)
wifi capable via pcmcia slot
puppy linux
good battery
ac cable
3 gb
64megs
docking block
separate floppy drive
average condition cosmetically but runs like a dream
$135 shipped

Yeah I might wait a day or two and see if I can get something with more like a 12" screen. If not I might do that I will let you know.

Thanks

Hello. I have a Toshiba Satelite. It was brand new two years ago, around the beginning of school.

It has a 1.5 Ghz Intel Celeron processor, 512 MB of ram, 80 gig HD, etc...

Also, it is a 15.4" widescreen. So, no 12" iBook, but still very capable.

Let me know if at all interested, and I can get exact specs. I am looking to sell this for cheap, so this seems perfect!

For $300 you can get any iBook G3 and probably if you look hard enough and are savvy, can get a Ti or a G4 iBook.

oh, on eBay.

Does it have a descent battery? How much are you looking to get for it?

The battery's decent.. 2-3 hours I guess. I'm looking for more around 400 though.

for a G3 ibook?

thats kind of high considering the age of the machine and its CPU.

Well it's the 800 Mhz, maxed out ram, airport installed, combo drive. I think it's a reasonable price.

Um, not even remotely. G3 ibooks still go in the $200-400 range, and I haven't come across a G4 ibook, even on ebay, in working condition that has sold for less than $400 (and the decent ones sell for $500-600)...

people post buy it nows for items. good deals get snatched right away.

instead of searching for stuff just about to end.

try to search buy it now, newly listed.

youd be surprised.

but truly, you are mostly right, $300 is HARD to find.
