Hmm, assuming they are unprotected, then iTunes. In preferences, make sure that import is set to mp3, then you should be able to right click on any song in the library and there should be an option to convert to MP3.

A regular non-protected AAC appears with a "m4a" file extension. As WC posted, one a Mac one must burn a CD and reimport them as MP3s.
