Is there a way to compress .bin/.cue files?

I want to burn a movie that is about 10mb too big to fit on the disc.

Is there a program out there that will shrink this file for me?

(DVD2OneX does not do the job, already tried.)

Have you tried Creating An Archive of the BIN from the File menu? On some BINs it shrinks them but on others it actually makes them larger. 😱

i did it and it created a filename.zip

then when i tried opening the .zip file, all i got was 'permission denied' or some garbage error message

any other ideas?

Get a larger CD-blank? (90 minute)

See if there are any unneeded "extras" in the BIN file. You could use vcdgear to extract the MPEG from the BIN and make your own new VCD from the MPEG...

need some help

Hi Guys! I'm new to mac OS and need some help:

Is there a way to open .cbr and.cbz files? I found them on compressed files! thank you in advance!

Apparently they're just RAR(CBR) or ZIP(CBZ).

Hey Mate, I really wish to thank you a lot for the help. That program is wonderfull: I asked about those extensions because I was used to read comics and you guessed exactely what I need. Thank you thousend!

i'll let you slide b/c you are new, but please dont hijack threads. if you have a question outside of this topic, please start your own thread.

back on topic...

i am gonna try to extract the file from the bin. maybe that will work, however i doubt it will b/c i dont think there are any extras
