Having problems with my Yahoo Messenger.

I downloaded Yahoo Messenger for Mac OS X yesterday and it has been working fine until now. When I try to log in under a certain name it just stays at the logging in screen and does nothing else, but other log-in names work fine. Anyone know what's going on? And when I get on my PC my screename works just fine.
 
well, I have 2 solutions for you. The first one is to go into your Yahoo messenger preferences and just change whatever its set to, to the opposite under connections. So if its on default now, change it to behind firewall, and vice versa.

My second solution is to go to www.adiumx.com and use that instead. I suggest this because I was noticing that when I was using yahoo, no one was signing on or off after a while and the app would freeze, and if I signed off and back on, my friends list would change and there would be several offline messages that I missed (all the while I was online). I have not noticed this with Adium.
