What happened? Back to Square One??

I am not sure what I have done. I restarted my MB just now and the desktop that comes up is the same desktop as when it came out of the box. All of my documents are gone, my applications, all my itunes songs gone, pictures gone.

In the finder box under Macintosh HD->users I find my missing profile "Eric"

I find all my missing documents, songs, etc. But how can I log in as "Eric"? Thanks.

Yes, I failed to mention that in the OP. Before I shut down the time before the changes I did a "right click" on "user" in the Finder and changed it to "Eric". Am I screwed?

Here (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107854) is how to fix it. Now don't go doing that again...while possible to do by jumping through a ton of hoops, it's not recommended. :)
