News on GPU virtualization?

I'm just wondering if there have been any news on GPU virtualization from either VMware or Parallels. This is one of the major features I'm waiting for before I buy either of them.

Last I heard Parallels claimed they would have a beta version out around the year's end, is this still the case?

I haven't followed this, and I understand if nobody else knows. Just wanted to check in.

Yeah, I am kind of waiting on this too. I don't really need it right now, I just want to wait until the next version is released. My biggest worry is that Vista will be in full swing by then and I will have to pay for the super-platinum-edition of vista to run virtualization. I guess I could buy a copy of XP Home now. It should still work on the next edition of Parallels and BootCamp, right?
 
I would wait until after vista is ofically released, you will probably get much better deals from retailers wanting to clear out their stock 🙂
