A friend of mine is getting a Video iPod for Christmas, and I was going to help get hit the ground running as far as video content. Now I have a bunch of videos I ripped from DVDs back when the original 5G was prominent, simply for use for a display at the store I work at (CompUSA) Will these videos work on the new iPods as well?

The 5.5G iPod features larger resolutions for future DVD's you rip. Do a search you'll find plenty of info.
