Just received the new iPod...
From the pictures I thought that Apple had separated the remote from the headphone jack...but the remote still plugs into the same headphone jack and now also plugs into two extra connectors. What's up with that?
Any clue what these two connectors are for...now or in the future?
From reading about the Diagnostic six second recording feature, this may be a future microphone jack? A microphone only needs two connectors...
