A friend of mine owns a 2.0 Ghz iMac G5, running the latest edition of Tiger. We've found that the computer will randomly shut down, and seems to shut down whenever we visit a webpage that has Flash on it (My Space, YouTube, etc.).

Now, the computer has shut down entirely, and won't restart. When the computer was new, 1.5 years ago, we did install a 1GB stick of Crucial RAM, as well as Virtual PC with Windows XP Professional.

Can anyone tell me why this might be happening? We're at a loss. This weekend I'll be taking out the extra stick of RAM to see if that's the problem.

Help!

Thank you for your help! My friend called Apple, and is having the computer repaired at a local Apple reseller. Apple is covering the costs.
