Is there somewhere where I can find CDDB information other than the Apple one?

I don't know, but Apple uses Gracenote, so if you want *different* information, you must be careful not to use another service that simply also uses Gracenote....

freedb.org is the successor to the original cddb.

MusicBrainz is another alternative. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEatBrainz is the Mac client.

There are freedb and Musicbrainz.

Trick iTunes into using freedb.

Other software that can use freedb

iEatBrainz, Musicbrainz add-on for Mac
