Well, I feel sluggish running on 1 gig and am thinking of going to 2 gigs.

recommendations?

I think all you have to do is remove the battery door and change it, but here's a link (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303491) on the Apple site on how to.

No question. Buy a gig from Newegg (http://www.newegg.com) for around $95-100 shipped, and install it yourself. It's painfully easy. If you've never done it before, check out ifixit.com's Macbook Pro RAM installation guide (http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac/MacBook-Pro/RAM-Page-3-Battery). Apple charges way too much for the RAM and installation; doing it yourself is a piece of cake.
