My problem in a nutshell:

I record acoustic music, so my noisy MDD1000 is exiled to the closet. Thus, I needed USB and VGA extension cables to work with it. So, I have a CRT with a built-in cable attached to a 10' Gold Series Belkin VGA extension cable, which is in turn attached to the DVI->VGA adapter that came with my Mac and that is of course attached to the DVI slot in my video card. The damn image is ghosting/bleeding now. The total cable rig is 15 feet, which is well within reason, plus I am using a high-quality extension cable, so that shouldn't be the problem. The only thing I can think of is that a better DVI->VGA adapter might help. Anyone have any advice?

To help determine if maybe you're getting interference get some aluminum foil and wrap the entire length of the monitor cable with it. If the ghosting gets better or goes away you found your culprit.

Thanks, MacBandit I'll give it a try.

You're the only one who has actually recognized her.

Well I'm a big fan of the DOA series and I'm absolutely lethal with Kasumi. :D
