We've already been through this, time machine IS working and relies on additions to the HFS+ format. Time machine could just as easily work with ZFS, and likely much more efficiently, but believe me, Time Machine will work with HFS+. Apple wouldn't force everyone to reformat their hard drives in order to use a feature. (Even though technically you're supposed to when you upgrade the OS.)
