Tool or APC

I personally love both bands. I wanted to know what people think of them, like both, like one, like none.

I always feel that I listen to Tool when I'm feeling crappy becuase it cheers me up, then APC because it rocks.

Also if you like them, which songs are your favorite

Mine are:
Tool- 10,000 Days (Wings Part2)
APC- Either Hollow or Counting Bodies like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums

i really like APC. I have no favorites on the 3 albumns I own (eMotive, Mer de Noms, and Thirteenth Step) as they all rock. I do like Fiddle and the Drum, Lets have a war, Passive, the imagine remake, the nurse who loved me.....eh what am i kidding i like it all!


Havent heard too much of Tool but I have been meaning to fix that.

Personally I prefer APC (the first two albums) over Tool, although Lateralus is really awesome (the cd). I enjoyed Vicarious on the latest album, but honestly haven't had much time to listen to the whole cd.

Bottom line is I'd pay more to see APC than Tool :)

Tool. without question. and that's not because i don't like APC.. i love APC. but Tool just completely and utterly blows them out of the water in my opinion.

favorite Tool songs would be Lateralus and Wings Pt.2, but i like to listen to the albums as a whole...
favorite APC songs are Passive and the Blue remix from aMOTION.

APC is great music. I find Maynard takes a more feminine form in APC. I will however always be a hardcore Tool fan at heart.

Love them both, but I dig APC more...Specifically the entire Thirteenth Step album.

I love both bands, and it really depends on my mood it I want to rock out its Tool I find that A Perfect Circle is more layed back.

A Perfect Circle was more of a layed back approach to his music and its a shame he spent so much effort into putting his best work into APC than writing for tool although tool has great songs just not as much as APC does.

if you look at both bands APC's best record would be Thirteen steps and tools would be Lateralus.

Have all albums by both, and like them both for different reasons, but Tool way more.

I'm pretty sure APC is no more, as Maynard said they weren't making any new albums. Hopefully that means more music from Tool.
