Thought I would post that I just bought a refurb first gen 2GB Nano and it shipped with the new style headphones, thought that was interesting.
Overall I am very impressed with the refurb store. While it did come in a plain though Apple logo'd brown box (not nice for gift giving but this ipod was for me 😀 ), everything else was like new, covered in plastic, shiny and clean. Would highly recommend going the refurb route to save a few $'s!
