I have the latest Mac Mini 1.83 Duo Core Intel and would like to use the new 30 inch display from Mac. There ad says it wont work. Anyone have anmore info?

I don't think there's anything realistic you can do. That display requires DVI-Dual Link, which the Mini just doesn't have. Not to mention that the max resolution of the Mini is substantially lower than the 30" ACD native resolution. I don't think you can drive Dell's 30"-er either.

Erm...beats me! Explain to the gift-giver why you cannot use it and return/exchange it? Get a computer that can use it (a MacBook Pro is probably the cheapest Mac option).
