What do you guys use to monitor the mac pro's temps in windows? I've tried a couple but can't figure out what to put down for motherboard information so none of them work right.

I doubt Apple have written drivers for it. I've read about people having problems with Windows not running the fans properly on Mac laptops, possibly due to Apple not having written drivers for the temperature sensors.

put a piece of paper inside your case.. If it starts smoking after a while, your computer may be too hot.

The latest beta of speedfan works (temperature only, not fan speed).

I use Core Temp (http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/), reads temps directly from Intel "core" cpus. For videocard I use the driver's built-in temp monitor, but I suppose Rivatuner, Powerstrip, etc would work well too.

Haven't bothered looking in Windows land for something as detailed as Temperature Monitor for OSX.
