Updating software for a Blackberry Pearl.

I am trying to update my Blackberry Pearl with new software from the T-Mobile site and I just cannot figure it out. I have downloaded the software (which was ".exe") and I have "PocketMac" to install the download. However when I tried to install this new software the window came up to select where and what I am downloading (Desktop----->8100_Pearl_4.2.0.64.exe). This did not work however because I could not select it (8100_Pearl_4.2.0.64.exe was not highlighted).

How do I update my Pearl with the software from the T-Mobile site? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, it is an .exe file, which only windows can read. You might want to give T-Mobile customer service a call, and see if there are individual Blackberry files that can be emailed and installed over the air. Otherwise, if you have access to a windows computer you could try opening the .exe there and see if you can get the files contained within that way.
