Please help, I have a serious problem.

I am the owner of a 12 inch powerbook. I am having a very annoying problem with restarting and the volume keys. Whenever the volume function keys are pressed or the brightness key is pressed the computer restarts. Can someone please give me an idea of what is going on here.

I have no idea, but I'd get on the phone to Apple, u must be within your first year of ownership with a 12" PB. They (in my experiance) are very helpful.

That would have been my advice, too. Did you call them yet? What have they told you?

Yeah thats definetely a problem that apple have to deal with... return it 'for the good of the city'.

You have some sort of short in the keyboard, or something else that is wrong. Call Apple.

I think your thingamajig is interfearing with the whatchamacallit, better let Apple know.

somehow the keyboard is causing a short. Call apple immediately.
