Should i wait until after Jan 07' Macworld to buy Mac Pro?

i am in the market for a new desktop. i am a former PC user and this will be my first Mac desktop since my Apple II E. my question is should i wait to buy my mac pro until after Macworld (january 2007)?

are desktop updates expected at the event?

For a Mac Pro, I'd wait. It's only a week or so away.

If you were after a MB or MBP I'd say order now though.

I'm looking for a Mac Pro and will wait until Macworld. At the very least, we'll get iLife 07.

I would wait, I'm will be buying either an iMac or Mac Pro in the next couple of weeks, I'm still waiting for at least up till MacWorld.

iLife '07 Will Ad Value To Your Mac Pro

I am in desperate need of a new Macbook, but am waiting till iLife '07 is
announced at MWSF in less than 2 weeks.

I'm hoping to pickup a Mac Pro soon as well. I'm waiting for sure till after MWSF.
