I have a video clip of a tv show that I'm trying to edit into a music video, set to play to "When I'm Gone" by Three Doors Down. The video shows up perfectly in Quicktime, under the filename scene1.mov. The clip is approximately one and some odd seconds in length. When importing into iMovie, only the audio plays (and when ripped from the video, still plays, the audio is left entirely intact).

The video not playing in the actual file was due to filename. I changed the filename from scene1.mov to scen1.HDTV.XviD-MiNT.mov. The file played, but the audio remained. :S

Question, does Quicktime extract audio from files, and if so, should I remove the audio from the file in Quicktime instead of iMovie?

Never mind...problem is solved.
