Ok I want to take the soundclip I made in garage band and make it a ringtone on my blackberry. When I send it through the mail and open it, it wont play because garage band is not supported on the blackberry.

My question is how can I change the file to a regular wav file so I can make it a ringtone?

Get Audacity. Record in Audacity while playing the sound clip from Garage Band. Once Audacity has recorded that sound clip, there's an option in the menu bar under Audacity to export as .wav . You can even export as .mp3 if you go to Audacity's website and download the mp3 encoder. It's a library file you can put anywhere on your mac that Audacity uses to encode mp3s instead of .wav files. I find that the .mp3 files are smaller and take up less memory on my phone. My phone doesn't even support .wav, anyhow.

Recording in Audacity will record the mac's sound output back into the internal mic, so the quality isn't that great, but it'll do for a ringtone.
