Will Garageband work on a computer with 512MB RAM and a 400MHz G4 processor (PowerBook)?

Possibly, but the slow drive and processor will leave you crying.

So what would be the minimum specs required for acceptable performance? I'd love to play with garageband on my 700Mhz G4 eMac, but it looks like it just won't do 🙁

My 800MHz G4 iBook (with 640MB of RAM) plays well enough with it. I imagine the eMac should too, so long as it has more than 512MB of RAM. 🙂

Darn! I really need to upgrade my memory, 384 just doesn't do it anymore...

Yeah, that'll be a struggle. Aim for 512MB plus. 🙂
