Well, griffin released their cool new upgrade to the iCurve, the Elevator:

But my mom has a transparent glass desk so I'm looking to get an iCurve. I bought one for myself for $25 shipped on here a while ago, so I'm looking to buy for hopefully around that price. I can pay with paypal, and have 100% eBay and heatware feedback. Thanks!

Hey there -- I got one awhile ago off here to turn my MacBook into my desktop... but I have since sold the MacBook and have an iMac so don't need the iCurve -- $25 sounds good to me.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but if the OP finds one available and there is another one, I'll take it :)

Maybe I missed something here, butwhat exactly does the OS version have to do with a riser platform for latops

mulletman13, i think i can do $25 shipped for my icurve. i'm 90% sure i have my original box. there is a cosmetic defect on the icurve, and i can take a picture of it on sunday when i have access to it. but i've used it for about 1/2 year without any problems. I live in illinois, so it can get to you decently quickly.
feel free to pm, but my mailbox is roughly 8 messages away from being full, just as a warning.

Well, Im_to_hyper is going away and offered me to refund payment since he won't be able to ship it out until the 13th now. If anyone else has an iCurve (I would hope ;)) and would like to sell for 25 shipped tell me and I will send payment and make arrangements. Thanks!

hi. mulletman no longer needs my icurve so it is still available. however, there is a blemish/defect on mine. but it has worked perfectly for me.
here is a link to the defect. now that i look at it more carefully, it seems to be a crack. it has been there as long as i can remember, and i have used it to hold a 13" macbook as well as a 17" G4 powerbook. if you are still interested, pm me for my paypal address.
it's up to you. i just wanted to let you know what it looks like before you bought it. i still have the original box, too.

What's the different between the iCurve and the Elevator?

From what I can see, about 2" of height...

for those still looking for a used iCurve, I suggest that you consider getting the new Elevator instead. The elevator is better because it can be disassembled and made smaller, so it takes up less space when traveling.
as for the cost. you can get one from compusa for $30 plus tax (go to compusa.com and search for "1093-CURV2") or you can go to buy.com and pay $33, which includes free shipping and no tax to many places. search for either "elevator" or "1093-CURV2"
there is no need to pay ebay-type prices when you can get a newer/better model for cheaper. (that is why i stated earlier that $25 shipped is a good "forums" price)
