Hey, this may be a stupid question but is there a way to resize images in Preview? I have photoshop but it'd be a lot easier to be able to do it quick-like.
Thanks.

I don't think so, but then again I'm new to Mac. There's a really nifty, free image manip app called Toy Viewer that I use for little things like that. Maybe you could download that?

You can scale photos down in iPhoto, if that's what you're after. :)

Sure. Select the image, click on the File menu and select Export (it's in the Share menu in earlier versions of iPhoto), click on Scale Images No Larger Than and enter your pixels. Save the image somewhere, and you're done. :)

Create an Automator script, I can upload the one I made, I right click on the image and choose resize and it resizes it based on percentage or longest side length (in pixels) let me know if you'd like it. Or the actions on how to do it.

I'd love that. I've yet to try automator out. I'd love to get to know it by setting this up.

Here's what you do:
1 - You get the selected finder items, meaning you have to right click on at least one.
2 - You need to copy the image to a temporary folder (create one) so that you don't modify the original image.
3 - Rename that item and put something after it, on mine I did the date
4 - Move the items we just renamed to the desktop to help the user find it (or you can make a folder and put them in there)
5 - Finally scale the image.
Voila, now just to File->Save As Plug-in... for Finder.

Although it may not be what you're looking for in this specific instance, you can always check out this site (http://resizepic.com/) as well.

can be deleted, as it is now moot.
