Will The Sims and Hotdate run well on my eMac 700mhz 256 MB of RAM?

it'll probably run alright... but it couldn't hurt (overall) to get more ram.... are you running x or 9?

I have both so which ever one it works the best on I'll probably use.

It will run fine. I have watched someone play that game to death on a Pismo with less RAM in X.

And another question. Do ya'll know any site that might tell when the new SUPERSTAR expansion will come out on Mac. If not then about how long after the release on the PC does one come out on the Mac?

i havent played the sims for a while. but its a great game. very addictive! :D

Yes...Before I switched to the Mac from Windows my friend let me borrow his Sims game and IT WAS SO ADDICTIVE. But I really don't care as much about the playing and living as I do the building and designing the house. I like to build HUGE mansions that have really RICH familes in them. Someone should add an iMac to the computer section.

It will work fine, it only needs a G3-233, so any G4 will be fine. And 256MB Ram should be fine, but some more would help very much.
