I've got a New MacBook Pro ... is it a Good Specs?

Just today i received my new MBP with following spec

2.33 Duo core 2
120 GB Hard Disk
2 GB RAM

is it good specs, is there is better than this ?

You know the specs are fine...are you honestly asking a question or just bragging about your new purchase? It's a nice machine, you'll do fine with it for years to come.
 
Thank you gauchogolfer ... its just question to know if i bought the right machine ... its my first time to buy a Mac ...
 
easy golfer😉 he or she just joined in the last 2 days, don't scare them. and since they did just join i would take that as a sign that they might not be barging compared to someone on here who has many posts and been singed up a while, and then decides to ask a question like the one posed.

Yes its a good machine, however you should already know its good because of the product research you did before you spent 2,000.

Looking back, you're probably right, I should have gone a bit easier.

First of all, welcome someone to MR, I hope you enjoy your stay. You have a nice machine, and I assume it will be able to handle anything you throw at it.

I guess I just got the feeling this was one of those "I just bought a new Quad with 8GB of RAM, is it a good machine?" type threads. Sorry for the overreaction. 🙂

Sure. You could have upgraded the hard drive to 160GB or 200GB and you could have upgraded the RAM to 3GB (or even 4GB but that's another story)

WTF??? Did you not see that that is the fastest laptop available when you ordered it!!!??? You're asking NOW!?
 
I think you could do better. To that end, you should give it to me and I'll send you $100 toward your purchase of a better one. Sound good? 😉
