how do i do this effect/transition? is it simple?

It may be third party plugin or just a clever trick.

you can do it in shake, but might be quite complex to do,

The effect can be done in by cutting up the images in Photoshop and then importing them into Motion.

You then use the Keyframe editor and the Adjust four corner tab tool and its possible to recreate the same effect.

The only difference will be with this approach you will only have a still on each part of the cut up face.

dam, i thought it might be a simple thing... i'm doing a slideshow in FC and thought this would be a cool and different transition... o well

i have another question, in motion i wanted to use the class plane transition, but when i import the images to replace it in the locations, i have to resize each one, is their option that it will automatilly resizes them?

edit - i went into the prefrences and selected both options for large stills and nothing seems to work...
