I have recently noticed that my widgets and other on screen instances of this font are not what they should be. I am sure there is a simple fix for this, but I have no idea what font it is or what I do to resolve the issue. The font in question is the the one in the weather widget (i.e. the word "done", in the screenshot I have attached)

Please help

Looking at the CSS file inside that widget, it looks like the font being used should be "Helvetica Neue".

Is that font something you've disabled on your system? Try checking the "Font Book" application to see if the font is turned on or off.

If the font is on, then maybe it has become corrupt and needs to be replaced?

Just guessing really - hopefully it helps.

What next?

I turned off the Helv. Neuv, and nothing changed. I then turned on another Helv Neu. I had on my system but still no change.

How do I test to see if it is bad?

It is just the weather widget that comes from Apple. I know it happens on other widgets too, but this was the easiest to use as an example.
